COCO Beach Village, located in Playa Matapalo, Savegra (Puntarenas Province) is a Bed and Breakfast.  Our guests enjoy the convenience  of an easy 1 1/2 minute walk to several kilometers of long pristine beach! There is no over crowding in our beach community and it is very tranquil.  Our grounds and over 50 foot long lagoon pool with built in swim up bar and incredible evening pool lighting are highly maintained. The tranquil beauty and location of our new hotel is quickly becoming the talk of the South Pacific. 

 

Our grounds also offer beautiful patio garden lounging areas and an array of pool lounge chairs and hammocks, all of which are surrounded by lush tropical plants and soft Bermuda grass.  You can also enjoy eating under an array of tiled and shady patio tables surrounding the pool area, with 8 foot wide umbrellas. We also have a very clean and shaded varanda kitchen upstairs for the convenience of those guests who wish to cook for themselves.  Laundry services are also available.

COCO Beach Village is located 160 meters from a very long and beautiful beach. Our rain forest beach community in Costa Rica has some of the highest numbers of animals and ocean habitats per kilometer on earth. During your visit to Playa Matapalo, monkeys swing through the trees in town throughout the day. Sloths, Toucans and a huge array of birds, fish and other wild life are roaming freely.  It is normal to see horses and cattle roaming down the street. 

 

We're conveniently located by two wheel drive  along  well paved roads in our area and only one turn off the primary 34 HWY, leading directly to a long and gorgeous beach with free roaming rainforest animals.  (Four wheel drive is not necessary to reach this destination).  We are less  than a two minute walk to our small local grocer for primary supplies you may need.  Three other small local grocers are within one to two kilometers from our cozy location as well.

 

It's easy to find nearby restaurants, with a great selection of eating venues. (Go to the local restaurants menu tab to see a handful of our top pics and why!)

 

We pride ourselves in offering our guests extremely clean and comfortable airconditioned rooms with several nice amenities.  All rooms offer outdoor views of our large lagoon pool and some rooms have very limited partial ocean views.  Please go to the ROOMS tab of our menu to view our rooms and amenities.
