Welcome to COCO Beach Village, our charming 7-room boutique hotel in beautiful Playa Matapalo, Costa Rica, just 100 meters from the beach and surrounded by lush tropical gardens and incredible wildlife.

 

Here, we invite you to experience the true beauty of Costa Rica’s South Pacific, perfectly located between Quepos, Dominical, and Uvita, with easy access to Manuel Antonio National Park, Marino Ballena National Park, waterfalls, surfing beaches, whale watching tours, and many of the area’s most unforgettable nature experiences.

 

At COCO Beach Village, nature is part of everyday life. On your walk to the beach, you may encounter monkeys, sloths, colorful tropical birds, and during the season even whales or dolphins along the Pacific coast. Playa Matapalo is also an important sea turtle conservation area, helping protect leatherback, green, hawksbill, and olive ridley turtles.

 

My name is David. I have English roots and lived in Germany for 34 years before moving to Costa Rica. Since taking over COCO Beach Village in 2022, I have personally welcomed guests and focused on creating a peaceful, comfortable, and authentic boutique hotel experience where visitors feel truly at home.
